Meet the Chef – Chef Cejje

Chef Cejje’s culinary journey began at just 12 years old, learning to cook alongside his mother and grandmother—two powerful women who ignited his passion for food and flavor. That early spark grew into a calling, leading him to pursue culinary classes in high school, where he honed his skills and competed in several cooking competitions, including a standout performance at Disney World that earned his team 4th place.

After proudly serving in the U.S. Air Force, Chef Cejje continued to chase his culinary dreams. In 2020, he enrolled in culinary school and has been perfecting his craft ever since. His style blends tradition and innovation, with dishes that reflect a deep respect for both American and African roots while embracing global influences.

For Chef Cejje, food isn’t just nourishment—it’s a bridge between cultures, a source of joy, and a tool for connection. He believes food has the power to spark conversation, build community, and even create peace. At Fave Kitchen, every dish he serves carries a piece of that vision: bold flavor, meaningful heritage, and a whole lot of heart.
